Difference between electric spindle and mechanical spindle

Electric spindles are generally used on CNC machines, while mechanical spindles are used on general machine tools. Reason: Low cost lathes cannot use electric spindles because the cost is too high. However, high-end lathes are not suitable for use on high-precision lathes due to the high demand for spindle accuracy. Electric spindles with high heat generation can easily cause thermal deformation and then change the height of the spindle box.
